We officially set up shop (shed!) in late 2016 and so we’re still pretty much the new kids on the block but that doesn’t mean we don’t know how to make some of the best beer in the country.
Friends working in the oil industry, we decided to make our hobby of ale brewing and tasting something that we could really get behind. We left oil & gas for hops & barley and named after the birth place of our first product, Shed 35, Carnoustie’s local craft ale brewery was born.

John has been brewing beer as hobby for over ten years, honing his skills and his tastebuds too – a creative force behind the flavours that make our ales taste so good. John also brings a business element to the beer, working with stockists and suppliers to get Shed 35 on the shelves and in the fridges of those who appreciate time well spent perfecting a truly local product.
